But it ended nicely went out to a nice dinner with hubby and
Jake to the Melting Pot...
Love that place...

This week has been a little hectic I am still struggling with all the homework and projects that Jake has to do in 4th grade!!!
It's unbelievable!
We don't get much downtime either...
I race home from work and then we dive into homework for at least 1 1/2 hours...
then dinner..bath...reading before bed and then bed...
the nights just seem to FLY by so fast with all this homework and stuff...
Is summer here yet ;)

Here are a few things that I was able to complete
on this nice long weekend that just passed...

Studio Calico...Take Flight LO

Finally got some down time to actually sit down and do a layout!
School just started for us this past Monday and I have to say that
Jake actually enjoyed his first week of 4th grade...
I know the big 4th grader!!!
I cannot believe it!
So I took some pics from the first day and for whatever reason
I LOVED this pic of him...
he's not even looking at the camera but he was just
SO determined to walk by himself to school that day...
I had to "follow him"....
So this is what I came up with using Studio Calico's August kit.
Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
